Short Shorts and High Heeled Dancing Shoes

Tonight, ‘We’ take on the first celebration of 10 years of the ‘We Are…’ Podcast.

Time spent in the nightlife has taken all of us to many places; seeing different faces; with different lives, different “In-TEN-tion.’  To celebrate 10 years of this little excursion into experience in life through music, ‘We’ will visit some of these places.

Our first stop is that party that only a few know about.  That party that the unknowing just walk right on passed.  It’s down a dank alley, in what is probably on the worn side of town.  The kind of alley most folks wouldn’t even consider venturing down while on their way to bigger and better things.  As they pass by, they catch unfamiliar sounds; not unpleasant, but unfamiliar (maybe those characteristics are the same for some).  

But some of us, ‘We’ know the secret; ‘We’ walk through life wearing those masks, dreaming of the time we get to take it off, shed our skins and bear ourselves to the speakers.

This party can be found in the darkest parts of the night, or when the sun is highest in the sky.  

‘We’ are drawn to the 120 BPM throb.  You know that beat: synced perfectly to your heartbeat on the floor.  

‘We’ know that dank alley and that nondescript door.  The Back Door; only recognizable by the pile of masks and shed skins left at the door.

Once inside, ‘We’ are carried off by the infectious vibe deep into the Ritual:

the voices.
