Staying with the pentatonic theme, this is a new funky one I pulled together in a few days. I had to take 2 months off due to some tendonitis, but I seem to be back to normal.

So far the feedback has been really good on this one. Funny because its not really over the top flashy guitar playing!

Dopo un prolungato percorso di indagini, Don Cilicio Prozac ha finalmente ritrovato, abilmente celata nel frigorifero di quello che si ritiene fosse il relitto di un’astronave aliena, una copia della partitura del leggendario Inno Cerimoniale delle misteriose Sette Nefariane.
-Per chi non fosse a conoscenza dell’ordine eretico Nefariano e di come il Divino Mascarpone abbia testimoniato l’investitura divina di  Papa Nefario I, rimandiamo alle note esplicative relative alla “Fanfara per l’investitura di SS Papa Nefario I” pubblicata su questo stesso canale San Claudio.-
La partitura rinvenuta dal pio ricercatore, pur mantenendo pressoché intatto il testo tradizionale delle origini, si presenta chiaramente come una versione relativamente recente dell'inno, un indizio inequivocabile della pervasiva presenza di cellule Nefariane attive nella società contemporanea. 
Dunque, con  l'intento di attestare in modo incontrovertibile l'esistenza di questo Potente Ordine Eretico, Don Prozac ed i Vertici del Pio Istituto si sono prodigati affinché l'inno venisse eseguito e reso finalmente pubblico. 
Tuttavia, durante la registrazione del brano, con crescente preoccupazione, si è constatato che, per ragioni misteriose, nessuno dei coristi e dei musicisti dell'orchestra riusciva a completare l'esecuzione senza dover ricorrere a frequenti visite al bagno.
Un attento studio del testo, redatto in un curioso latino medievale corrotto da evidenti influenze sumeriche (o, forse, molisane), ha messo in luce la presenza di un'antica maledizione che colpirebbe coloro che osassero recitare, o anche solo ascoltare, il testo dell'inno senza essere stati iniziati all'ordine. Infatti, nella terza stanza, si legge: ‘Quod Botulinum vindice, lator vindictae intestinalis, omnes infideles scagazzabunt cum magno dolore de pança.’
Secondo ulteriori documenti rinvenuti nei frigoriferi di altri relitti alieni disseminati nel mondo, la vendicativa Entità Botulinica, di probabile origine extraterrestre e diretta emanazione del Sacro Mascarpone, colpirebbe chiunque osasse recitare o ascoltare il testo del Sacro Inno senza essere stato iniziato alla Setta, manifestandosi in violenti contorcimenti intestinali e in un'improvvisa avversione per i latticini. 
A sostegno di questa teoria, un musicista colpito dalla presunta Maledictio Mascarponis, tra inquietanti borborigmi e scorreggioni rimbombanti, pare abbia iniziato a cantare a squarciagola in una lingua sconosciuta, rivelatasi sorprendentemente simile all’antico dialetto Knurd del terzo pianeta di Aldebaran. È opportuno notare come questo evento abbia ulteriormente confortato le speculazioni circa una verosimile connessione interstellare tra le Sette Nefariane e civiltà extraterrestri, alimentando ancora una volta l'ineffabile mistero che circonda la confraternita.
Determinato a rivelare comunque al mondo questa straordinaria opera, Don Prozac ha deciso dunque di presentare al pubblico una versione strumentale dell'Inno, un'interpretazione che evita le insidie intestinali e consente ai musicisti e al pubblico di godere della potenza della musica senza il rischio di incorrere in imbarazzanti incidenti.
In conclusione, invitiamo tutti a godere di questa Opera che celebra la grandezza di Papa Nefario I e la resilienza della Sua Confraternita, ora presentata in una forma che onora la tradizione senza compromettere il benessere intestinale dei partecipanti all’esecuzione.
