I grew up in a small town called Elgin, South Carolina; Columbia's metropolitan area. I've been writing music for almost 10 years now. It didn't really become a passion for me until I was about 17, when I joined a band in the local scene. After a few years of gigging, and developing a following, I felt that the best way to pursue my career seriously, would be to take off to the live music capital of the world, Austin, TX!
