Isla Fortuna is a desert/stoner rock band formed in June 2013 in Larnaca, Cyprus. The band was formed by Lykourgos, Stefanos and Nicolas with the purpose of writing original songs with a desert/stoner rock sound. The name of the band was inspired by the band's home island Cyprus. The music builds on a process of orchestrating individual sounds, swells, loops and tremors from an electric guitar.
