Slovenian star UMEK&#8217;s latest banger for Great Stuff does away with anything as pedestrian as a featureless beat-led intro, instead dropping us straight into a breakdown/build style scenario. Its energy is all the more potent for it. 

A cheeky &#8216;90s Euro dance style synth hook stabs away at a supremely skippy, feisty percussion section, with a bouncy bassline mirroring its infectious melody in synergistic fashion. Backwards fills, manic drum rolls and colourful FX provide plenty of entertainment in the background, the groove hammers away in the fore. 

Think names like Kadoc, Klubbheads and Natural Born Groovers given a 2013 update, and bolstered by lashings of that inimitable UMEK grooviness. Brimming over with dancefloor energy, it&#8217;s set to be a firm favourite over the summer months with those who like their house music rampant and bursting at the seams.

Turbo Recordings presents the second in a series of club-vanquishing EPs from @dukedumont.

Following the rapturous reception of his first club-centric EP for Turbo, as well as remixes for Santigold and the forthcoming AlunaGeorge single, UK superproducer Duke Dumont returns to tighten his stranglehold on the worldwide nightgeist with FOR CLUB PLAY ONLY VOL. 2, this time training his sights on the Vocal Anthem heavyweight title.

A-side "No Money Blues" brings UK bass and deep house into the realm of crossover pop, while "The Giver" is an ecstatic vocal house anthem that would fit seamlessly alongside the most uplifting MURK classics. These are probably the two most "feel-good" tracks we will put out all year, but the impeccable level of quality actually lets you "feel good" about "feeling good."

This EP positions Dumont as the versatile international hitmaker we know him to be, establishing a globe-spanning Dukedom to unite us all.

Duke Dumont - The Giver

It was a truly busy summer for Parov Stelar. His 5th studio album "The Princess" was a success and tickets for his shows all over the world were on heavy demand. After an exhausting summer of touring, with dozens of sold out shows, it´s now time to make a brief stop, take a deep breath and look back. Parov Stelar has chosen is a series of three remix EPs as the perfect way to reflect. In this series he and colleagues have been searching for new aspects in his sounds and reinterpreting his music. Every EP follows it´s own path and carves out some unique details.

Part one of the three-part series presents two remixes by Parov Stelar himself. Both the classic Parov Stelar track "L.O.V.E." as well as "Oh Yeah", which is from Stelar´s latest album, have been given a high gloss finish for "The Remix and Re-Edit Trilogy Part 1/3". "L.O.V.E." mutates from a rocking breakbeat monster to a chilled disco-house track with a perfect summer feel.  "Oh Yeah" has also been given the disco treatment by cranking it up a notch and creating much more pressure for the dancefloor than the album version.

The further parts of the trilogy will be released over the autumn.
