Here is a recent track that I think has enough appeal to upload. I've been practicing my songwriting skills without relying on complex drum patterns to make up for lack of lead instruments.  On this song I wanted to showcase the importance of writing parts that fit and flow together. I often hear too much sound design and not enough songwriting.

Next in on the FH mix machine is Minou, who has been biding her time for her proverbial 'breakthrough' in superbly considered fashion. How better to do so than sharpening her tools in her 9-5 as an event producer at Boiler Room as well as co-running ahead of the curve party series' After the Jump and Bubble Chamber, the latter additionally hosting a monthly show on Balamii. With a closer focus on DJ career, without jinxing, 2019 is to be the year for Minou who's bookings are coming through thick and fast - unsurprising when you hear what she has put together for us.

The mix itself is without doubt one of the most accomplished hours of selecting and mixing we have ever received - fitting at least 22 cuts of utter fire into the hour and a bit. The selection is basically a contemporary encyclopedia of unreleased and brand new dance music, ebbing an flowing between the nuanced sub-genre pockets we all know and love. Like any good night of music, Minou starts with playful and gentle rhythms which build and crescendo,  shifting the rudder into a darker cerebral territories as time elapses. Hold this one close, we shall be for a very long time.
