Lasse Winkler alias ACUD gelangte über Umwege zu dem Sound, der ihn heute ausmacht. In seiner Jugend fing er, inspiriert von Alben wie Torch’s „Blauer Samt“, mit dem Schreiben von Rap-Texten und dem Musizieren am Rechner an. Das erste Mal „Extrawelt“ hören, das erste „Fusion Festival“ gingen jedoch nicht spurlos an ihm vorbei. Zuerst mit dem Duo „Beatmörtelz“, jetzt alleine als „ACUD“, sieht er die treibende Kraft stets in mal episch großflächigen, mal knarzend verzerrten Melodieläufen. Immer wieder ertönt in seinen Tracks auch seine klare Stimme, die einen wichtigen Part in seiner Musik einnimmt. 2012 gründete er zusammen mit ein paar Artgenossen das Label KELLER, spezialisiert auf „visuelle“ Tanzmusik.

All this as well as growing up with the music of Miles Davis, Hendrix and Radio pop. Daso is one of the most talented acts in the recent electronic music circus. Out of the blue, Daso’s debut record “Daybreak” (MBF Rec., 2006) turned into a long run success for the Techno peak time moments in clubs around the world. Like many others, Spectral Sound became attentive to Daso’s music and decided to publish the young artist living in Cologne. “Meine” was a result of this intervention, a truly extraordinarily techno hymn. "Musik ist wie mein Tagebuch" Hätte unsere geschätzte Erde eine Umlaufbahn und Neigung, die den Tag um einiges verlängerte, wäre René Bourgeois einer der ersten, die sich diese zusätzlich zur Verfügung stehende Zeit, sinnvoll zu nutze machen würde.

DJ – Produzent – Videoproduzent – Kameramann. Der in Dresden geborene Musikästhet ist umtriebig wie kaum ein anderer. Schon als blutjunger Teenager lauschte er den Geheimnissen von 16Bit, Art of Noise, Off oder Yello. Der Umzug nach Chaos-City, wie viele die Hauptstadt zu nennen pflegen, war ausschlaggebend für seine kommende musikalische Entwicklung. Von seiner Schwester unterstützt, sammelte René seine musikalischen Favorites auf Kassetten und Schallplatten. Seiner Zeit waren diese beiden Medien Luxusgüter im grauen Ostberlin. So sammelte er akribisch Musik, die seine Synapsen stimulierte und lauschte den kultivierten Klängen der Radiosender. Mit seinem Schulfreund Daniel Steinberg, gründete René ein Schulradio, um die gesammelten Werke zum Einsatz zu bringen. Wen wundert es da, dass auch für Daniel Steinberg – besser bekannt als Harry Axt – eine ruhmreiche DJ-Karriere die Folge war.

Als die Wiedervereinigung eingeläutet wurde, zog es René Bourgeois in die ersten Berliner Clubstätten. Schon kurze Zeit später, als der Kulturschock Techno ausgerufen wurde, fand er sich hinter den Plattentellern wieder. In dieser Zeit lernte er viele neue Leute kennen, die ihn bis heute als Freunde und musikalische Partner begleiten. Sascha Braemer-Hirtenfellner, der Kreativ-Produzenten und Labelowner, ist einer dieser Freunde. Mit ihm als Partner wurden erste gemeinsame Projekte aus dem Boden gestampft und eigene Musikproduktionen folgten schnell. Bis dahin verfolgte René Bourgeois leidenschaftlich aber ausschließlich sein Ziel, von und mit Musik zu leben. Als er im Jahre 2003 ein zusätzliches Kapitel in seinem Leben aufschlug: Kamera & Videoproduktion. Auch in diesen Bereichen verschaffte er sich schnell Respekt. Ende 2008 landete er mit "4myRecordz" (supdub) seinen bis dahin größten Erfolg als Produzent, mit diesem Wurf gelang ihm auch international der Durchbruch. Was heute hinter ihm liegt, sind mehr als 20 Jahre Liebe zur elektronischen Musik und ein Tagebuch mit unendlich vielen Kapiteln, wir dürfen gespannt sein, welches sich als nächstes öffnet!

Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin's most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.   

He's connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed Claptone, Felix Da Housecat and Oliver Dollar. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few. 

Steinberg's early output arrived on Jesse Rose's Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit 'Bailando' and his debut album 'Shut up'. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums 'Treptow' and 'Left-Handed' and club classics 'Joy & Happiness' and 'Let Me Down' that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.

His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany.
