Lewis Boardman follows up last year’s thumping “Whoyouwho / Sucker” EP with 2 brand new original tracks. Both have a bouncy, yet a vaguely ominous aura about them, a characterization that has often become synonymous with the Liverpool resident’s production style and DJ sets: “I make music that is suited to me and my style of DJing. Sometimes it’s really deep stuff around 121 bpm and grooves along and then sometimes it’s dark and creepy, in-and-around 125 bpm. But it’s always a true reflection of the music that I’m really into and passionate about.”

Beyond his productions, Boardman has also become a staple in the UK’s underground house scene. He’s DJ’d alongside some of the world’s biggest names (Matthias Tanzmann, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Yousef) and helped form and facilitate the building of Liverpool as a hub of notable nightlife, throwing club nights during his 13-year (and counting) residency at the iconic nightclub Circus. He has also made regular appearances at some of Europe’s other finest venues (such as Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Razzmatazz, Watergate) and as well as a residency at Parklife’s festival.

Release Info: 
In 2015 Artbat made a loud statement and asserted themselves with a ‘Mandrake’ EP released on Definition:Music. The very first effort from this Ukrainian electronic project resulted in critical acclaim and warm reception by the local and foreign audience. It&#39;s powerful, full-bodied and hypnotizing sound won respect from many DJs of worldwide fame, including Umek, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin and Sasha.

Artbat was formed by two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev - Artur and Batish. Their portfolio builds upon a series of about 10 successful releases that charted globally and conquered numerous dancefloors all over the world. Such tracks as ‘Mandrake’, ‘Saltation’ and ‘Chivvy’, released by Definition:Music, paved their way to the international popularity. Though their major step forward – a release on Diynamic Records run by a world star DJ Solomun - is yet ahead.

Aside from Artbat’s popularity, the sheer amount of gigs in their tour schedule has skyrocketed too. Their DJ sets always deliver a wall of unrestrained energy and musical revelation. Artur and Batish fancy surprising their public with brand new releases, IDs and white-labels, unpredictable tracks and exclusive promos – their live shows can be compared to sharing and receiving in return.

In Summer 2016 Artbat’s touring geography has expanded not only along the ranks of the best Ukrainian clubs, but successfully extended the nightlife world capital and club epicenter Ibiza. The Ukrainian electronic duo’s name has frequently appeared on the lineup at the Destino night club.

Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin's most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.   

He's connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed Claptone, Felix Da Housecat and Oliver Dollar. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few. 

Steinberg's early output arrived on Jesse Rose's Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit 'Bailando' and his debut album 'Shut up'. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums 'Treptow' and 'Left-Handed' and club classics 'Joy & Happiness' and 'Let Me Down' that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.

His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany. See him in a behind the decks and you'll immediately know why, his energy is infectious and his skill undeniable as he weaves together own brand of fun-fuelled house and techno, full of sly creative winks.
