The order of the pickup positions in the song are neck, middle, bridge! The guitar, a Tele that I built from various parts, (Warmoth Body, Fender Limited Ed. neck with Fender tuners, Halon bridge, CTS and Switchcraft electronics) is plugged straight into a Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50 amp. The stock speaker is mic'ed with w Sennheiser MD421 mic, and an additional Mojotone speaker cab (Celestion Creamback Alnico Speaker) is miced with a CAD E350 microphone.

Liar

This was the first song that Ryan Hawthorn my guitar playing partner in Vorarro and I learned together. It took us a while but eventually we started a duet, and then after a while of doing that, and getting tighter all the time, we decided to form Vorarro. It was actually Ryan's idea. We added two of our favorite musicians from past bands, Jeff Aaron on fretless bass, and Martin Carle on drums and harmony vocals. This is the only band that I've been in that plays only my original songs, and I couldn't imagine a better band to play them with.  It's funny that it took us so long to record this one. What I like about this is that it's evolved just as we have as a band.

I haven't been very creative lately. With this pandemic robbing me of all my gigs, I've been fighting a bit of depression, so I forced myself to sit down and write a song. This song is the first one that I've used my Martin guitar on since Lynn Wheelwright fixed it up for me! And the electric guitar is my Zemaitis which has worked it's way into my heart as my current favorite! The microphones were Rode Classic II on vocal, #Violet Globe Vintage on the Martin, Sennheiser MD421 on the Ampeg amp. And heartbreak songs are my favorite (scroll down for the lyrics), so here we go...

When I finished the song I felt quite a bit better :)
