Description: A long overdue remaster of my very first orchestral piece.

So this was my second project with Parallax Software. What I remember most is how excited I got when I first read the script for the game while visiting the second office in Ann Arbor Michigan. We technically didn't have a dedicated writer for this project, and most of the voice recordings were actual employees of the studio. VERY LOW BUDGET. But, being a long time fan of such games as Wing Commander and X-Wing Vs. Tie Fighter, my inner geek was very excited to have a shot at trying to write music for a game in the same genre. What came after was a far more polished version but there is still a very warm spot in my heart for this game. It represents a time when games were the pure incarnation of the development team.

Instruments used: Eastwest QL Symphonic Orchestra Gold, Pianos Gold (Steinway D), Ministry of Rock (Musicman HCB), Storm Drum 2, Stylus RMX. Re-composed in about one day using Sonar X1c.


I love this song :) Here I think would be nice to have more dynamic range between quiet and louder parts, at the moment it is a little "flat" sounding :)
