What Is It Like - Denitia Odigie

Germino Lead 35 and a G&L ASAT (Cavalier p'ups)into an open-back 2x12 cab with Celestion Heritage Greenback and G12H30. Mic is a Cascade Vin Jet, on the G12H30, eight inches back, just off the dust cap.  Reverb from a pedal. Little bit of eq on the track - boosted highs because of the ribbon mic).  Weber MiniMass is at about 40% here, and the amp is on about 3 on the High Treble channel. Already a fair amount of gain when you dig in. There is, essentially, no truly "clean" headroom on this amp at all. But who cares!? I'm switching pickups a bit - go to the neck for the down bits, I think. Bridge on the rest.

Tungsten Crema Wheat Amp - Cascade VinJet mic, BAE 1073, Focusrite Clarett, Logic.  Little bit of reverb from a pedal. Light eq top end boost and a little compression.

Orange G&L ASAT (Bridge - Middle - Neck)

Nash T-52 with Lollar Vintage T neck pickup and Seymour Duncan BG-1400 bridge pickup. I go from bridge to middle to neck positions. 

Tungsten Crema Wheat amp.  Cascade VinJet mic, BAE 1073, Focusrite Clarett, and into Logic.  Reverb from a pedal.  Little bit of EQ and a little compression in Logic (top end boost to compensate for ribbon mic).

Recorded with SE Electronics VR-2 ribbon mic and a SHure KSM 137. No EQ added. Just a touch of room verb and a little compression.

Treble on about 3 Mids about 7, Bass at 10, and a touch of reverb. Recorded with an SE ELectronics VR2 Ribbon mic and a SHure KSM 137 through BAE and Golden Age 1073-type pres, into Logic. No EQ. Just a tiny touch of compression

I think I overloaded one of the mics, so there's some crackling. If I have time, I'll redo this.
