This year's last episode; #53 of the Adoda Mixtape series is delivered by AKA Jack.

Hailing from the heart of Den Bosch, AKA Jack embarked on an intriguing journey into the world of electronic music since the beginning of 2022 after encountering the infamous ''De School'' in Amsterdam. This club opened his heart to Tribal/Groove Techno and Breakbeat. 

As a DJ he has showcased his sound in various locations, including radio stations like OpenSourceRadio and Relate.Radio, as well as upholding a residency at Fnoob.Techno. His music has echoed in various local clubs such as Barkade and Club Commit, as well as events like BackToBase to the vibrant camping scene at Paaspop.

You can expect a powerful set infused with Tribal/Groove and Breakbeat sounds, as well as a future of releasing music in this range as well.

The Tunnel found another contender worthy of its gloomy aura. AKA Jack’s set felt like a 90-minute conjuring of ancient spirits, using a mix of melodic and trippy tunes as his spells. The people who entered the stage were put in an immediate trance and wanted just one thing: to dance! Thank you for playing AKA Jack! 🛸


On the 3rd and 4th of August, Dreadlabs Music hosted their own stage at @solarweekend in Roermond. After months of preparation, we made Tunnelvision come to life. Our vision was to create a place where the outside world had no opinion and music could flow freely—a place where the night lasted the longest. With pride in our hearts, we can confidently say we succeeded. It was a sweaty weekend with minimal sleep and maximum energy, but we’d do it all again if we could. We will see you all at the next Dreadlabs Music event!

Clubkade Opening Set Den Bosch - 14 December 2024

Techno to me is more than just music; it is a story being told. The deep bass and creative melodies touch me every time I walk into a club or festival. Techno is an experience that is hard to describe with words; it is something you have to live.

In early 2019, I was exposed to techno for the first time. My first experience took place at an Amsterdam club called "De School." I was immediately overwhelmed by different sounds and energies. From that moment on, I was sold and wanted to discover more in this scene.

After three years of attending different events in different clubs and festivals, I got inspired by different artists like JakoJako. So in early 2022 I started learning how to DJ, and six months later I started learning how to produce.

With my DJ sets, I try to do more than just present a collection of tracks. I try to tell a story that takes you on a journey. Stories with different emotions and sounds in the style of tribal and minimal techno. This is also what you can expect from my sets.

I have been to different venues to showcase my sound. My first big gig was at BackToBase. Soon after, you could find me at the bustling campsite of Paaspop. I have also been seen at local venues in Den Bosch, such as Barkade, Bosche Brouwers and Club Commit.

My goal is to let listeners hear a new style, or, if they already know the style, surprise them. In addition, I strive to surprise listeners with my music.

In 2022, I also started a TikTok channel with the goal of reaching a wider audience and introducing them to a style they don't know yet. This succeeded through several livestreams that I did several times a week, reaching a follower base of 28 thousand people. These people started following me because they really liked my style that I showed through the livestreams. I get very good feedback on the livestreams. I also got a follower count of 350 on SoundCloud because of these livestreams. Nowadays you can't find me live as often because I'm busier producing.

There are currently no official releases but stay tuned for my upcoming tracks. They promise an immersive mix of Tribal/Groove and Breakbeat beats.
