I can´t sleep and found this 3 year old "remember this"-recording on an old hard drive. It´s not great (although it seems that basement provided some interesting reverb) , but I could, like you, be run over by a bus tomorrow, so it will have to do for this night. I can´t wait to release REAL recordings. This stuff makes me look like a stumbling boy. I´m a stumbling man now, for fuck sake...

Brief history: Fred Neil was the early mainstay of the Greenwich Village folk scene, ridden the freights and written hits for Roy Orbison, he employed a young Bobby Dylan as harmonica player. Made a few albums, some with Vince Martin, one with the stars of the scene, one which may be the most beautifully recorded album ever. He wrote 'Everybody's Talkin' but turned down the offer to re-record it slightly faster for Midnight Cowboy, and gradually disappeared from the scene, preferring to spend his time watching dolphins from his home in Miami. He died in the early 2000s. It was soon after that I saw a bloke that looked like him...
