Blue Skies was conceived and written in the midst of a time of my self-discovery as an individual and as a partner in a relationship. It was originally a poem I wrote that turned into a song that my producer and I kept really simple and raw with the electric guitar. Blue Skies is about pleading for love in a relationship and fighting for it in the only way I knew how. Fighting for love brings up complex emotions of both anguish, fear, and hope all mixed together - which is what I am hoping translates into your ears. This song brought my guard down and it might bring yours down too. This feeling is so intensely personal and universal. This song gives the closest look into the inner workings of my heart, out of all the songs I have released, to date.

I love this song, but couldn't make it work in a DJ set, so I put this edit together. Didn't muck up the original too much, just gave it enough stomp to work in a club setting. I hope you get into it!
