Getting' Ready Spontaneous

This song is so dear to me and is my heart's cry daily to God. I was at a point in prayer where all I could say was "You are my desire", because I have found that nothing else can fill the thirst, the hunger and the space inside. No matter what we do or seek, only Jesus can truly satisfy.
I felt God's presence heavily and closer than the very air i breathe. I realized in that moment, nothing else touches the heart of God more than a heart that truly pants after HIM. Not what he can give, or what he can do, but just HIM.

Then I started writing this song, with help from my wife (Augustina Ojo) & little sis (Eunice Ojo). I pray as you listen, your heart will be connected to GOD and the fire of his love will be rekindled in your heart.

I am so grateful to have my dear sister and friend - Christiana Washington be a part of this song. Our connection was so divine, she is such a sincere, unique, humble and anointed worshipper! One of the best I've ever worked with!

My new single "Greater" is my song of victory! Thinking about how the past few years have gone down in history, all the news, sadness, disappointments, death, pain, suffering and so many unpleasant situations, I've come to remind you that our God is still alive, this battle is the Lord's. We are not defeated because our God is a champion, he has never lost and he will never fail!! Yes, the situations seem real, and we are questioned constantly if our God is still able to save, just like the story of David & Goliath. But our God is GREATER than any and everything. 

These were the thoughts in my heart when I started writing this song. We have dwelled too long here, and our giants keep boasting, saying there is no help for us, but I refuse to believe or accept the report of the enemy! So I started writing the verse, "Who are you great mountain? Who are you great wall? I serve a God who's mighty, his power none can contain. He has never lost and he will never fail!".

I pray this song blesses, encourages and uplift someone out there. I pray it reminds the world that no matter what we are going through, no matter the situation, our God is still GREATER and he's in control.

I was inspired by Psalms 103:1-2: “Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits" to write this song.

It’s so easy to fall back into worrying about the things we don’t have, things we lack and forget how much God has done, how he’s been faithful even up till now.

It's so easy to lose our sense of wonder, no longer getting amazed at every great thing God does in our lives, perhaps not even aware of the great things God has and is still doing, all because we only think about all our issues, problems, lacks and wants. 

This song is to remind us of how good and faithful God is and has been through the years. Even in the midst of our trials and troubles, he has remained truly faithful!

"Ese" is an Afrobeat Christian song which mean 'Thank You'. It's a song of gratitude to God for his unending mercies even when we don't deserve it. I wrote this song in a mix of English and my traditional language (Yoruba) and it’s a reflection of how much of God’s love, mercies and grace I have seen in spite of my flaws. I hope that this song will resonate with everyone and remind them of God's mercies even when they fall or fail. He's always there and we ought to be grateful!!
