You Bitch (one take demo)

Yesterday I was reminded of how much I love silly songs and so this morning I wrote and recorded this song. It’s basically the plot of the movie “Barbie in a Mermaid Tale” but told in the way that sailors and pirates would talk about the ocean.

They called him their long lost prince, or some bullshit like that
I didn’t quite hear cause I ran like crap
Last I heard of him he was helping them defeat an evil sorceress with the power of friendship, and a medium sized army

But someone had to pay his rent

And that’s why Jimmy owes me money
I want my friend back

He's mine now and Nemesis are told from the perspective of a character named Emma. She has a nemesis she's been competing with since they were little girls and now they're competing over Some Guy.

The second song told from Emma's perspective. Now her nemesis is trying to win The Guy back and instead of focusing on strengthening her relationship Emma starts to obsess (more than usually) over her nemesis.  
The brass line that leads into the guitar solo is a melody from the song Sverðbjarmi by Samosa (my favourite band!).
