This outstanding year 2020 forced all of us to slide into new spheres, experience changes and new dimensions of our existence. Daniela La Luz took the chance to write more music aside the dancefloor and got deeper into meditation.

As result Daniela gathered international talented and befriended electronic producers and pianist Natyra to bring this VA Compilation to life. This compilations musical purpose is to function as COPING MECHANISMS, to calm our restless minds. Even if you don´t chase meditation on purpose, this compilation will open up a space to do so.

Festivals, clubs, events, simply public human life was down, which was sad and dramatic for many of us and still life goes on. The term ‚success‘ has reached another definition. Music is still essential for most of us and even if it doesn´t feel like it, we´re still moving forward.

´COPING MECHANISMS (Electronic Meditation)´ is music for the evolutionary development, which is taking place inside of you. The purpose of this compilations music is to ease the mood and open up a portal through which you can go on a journey, encourage and strengthen yourself and stimulate yourself to turn inwards.

From 2008-2018 Berlin based Daniela La Luz was part of „Parallel Berlin“, not only as international touring live act, but also as producer, promoter, A&R and label head. __ABOUT THIS RELEASE

Unique and boundary-pushing artist Daniela La Luz announces her highly anticipated 3rd album, ‘System Reset’. For the first time, Daniela has personally compiled all the music and artworks, showcasing her signature diversity in this 11-track collection of genre-blending gems, while remaining rooted in electronic dance music.

The album will be released on double vinyl on June 1st and digitally on June 21st on her record label 'Dimension Of Being Human', founded during the pandemic.

Having spent a decade in Berlin, Daniela now resides in Munich, infusing her diverse experiences into this LP.

Daniela introduces 'System Reset':
"Due to a cascade of personal crises, I needed a 'System Reset' and chose this title to draw a parallel to our planet's circumstances and the duality of life and death.

This album is a mix of dancefloor-oriented pieces and acapellas, ranging from classic house to techno and dub, flavored with electro, wave, jazzy, and breakbeat influences. Amidst the hedonistic and fun-loving existence of modern humans, the fundamental theme of duality highlights the rising troubles of our sick planet. We seem to not understand the difference between civilization and technology, feeling invincible. Nevertheless, life and death coexist as the world keeps turning.

Half of 'System Reset' was written and recorded in Berlin, the other half in Munich, connecting my past, present, and future. The artworks were AI-generated. The double vinyl artwork prints include all lyrics for sing-along purposes. I sing in English, Polish, and Arabic.

What's important about my musical works: The initial first take, the first wave of intense creative energy and emotion, carves the path for a composition. 'The Power Of The Now' marks my workflow as a producer, musician, songwriter, and singer. It defines my style and excludes overworking my compositions endlessly. When it's written, it's written. The unique vibe of the moment dominates over the perfect, endlessly refined sound engineering. Each track is crafted with the same care and spontaneity.

The album funding from 'Initiative Musik' allowed me to collaborate with others and manage all involved processes. For the first time, I let others handle the mixing of my music. The sound and structure remained unchanged, but several parts received noticeable sound improvements. Most tracks on this LP were mixed by Tobi Neumann and J Manuel at Riverside Studios Berlin, with mastering by Manmade in Berlin."

Unique and boundary-pushing artist Daniela La Luz announces her highly anticipated 3rd album, ‘System Reset’. For the first time, Daniela has personally compiled all the music and artworks, showcasing her signature diversity in this 11-track collection of genre-blending gems, while remaining rooted in electronic dance music.

The album will be released on double vinyl on June 1st and digitally on June 21st on her record label 'Dimension Of Being Human', founded during the pandemic.

Having spent a decade in Berlin, Daniela now resides in Munich, infusing her diverse experiences into this LP.

Daniela introduces 'System Reset':

"Due to a cascade of personal crises, I needed a 'System Reset' and chose this title to draw a parallel to our planet's circumstances and the duality of life and death.

This album is a mix of dancefloor-oriented pieces and acapellas, ranging from classic house to techno and dub, flavored with electro, wave, jazzy, and breakbeat influences. Amidst the hedonistic and fun-loving existence of modern humans, the fundamental theme of duality highlights the rising troubles of our sick planet. We seem to not understand the difference between civilization and technology, feeling invincible. Nevertheless, life and death coexist as the world keeps turning.

Half of 'System Reset' was written and recorded in Berlin, the other half in Munich, connecting my past, present, and future. The artworks were AI-generated. The double vinyl artwork prints include all lyrics for sing-along purposes. I sing in English, Polish, and Arabic.

What's important about my musical works: The initial first take, the first wave of intense creative energy and emotion, carves the path for a composition. 'The Power Of The Now' marks my workflow as a producer, musician, songwriter, and singer. It defines my style and excludes overworking my compositions endlessly. When it's written, it's written. The unique vibe of the moment dominates over the perfect, endlessly refined sound engineering. Each track is crafted with the same care and spontaneity.

The album funding from 'Initiative Musik' allowed me to collaborate with others and manage all involved processes. For the first time, I let others handle the mixing of my music. The sound and structure remained unchanged, but several parts received noticeable sound improvements. Most tracks on this LP were mixed by Tobi Neumann and J Manuel at Riverside Studios Berlin, with mastering by Manmade in Berlin."

Parallel Berlin head Daniela La Luz returns to her home away from home, HOUSEWAX with a few friends to rework her modern classic, "Did You Ever".

Originally released in 2014 "Did You Ever" was an instant classic amongst decerning house heads, but it was when Detroit legend, Moodymann dropped it as closing track on his DJ Kicks on K!7 compilation the year later. The light well and truly spun onto La Luz and her sublime approach of house and techno.

Now to kick off 2018 Housewax have invited Virgo 4, Dah Ruh and Cinthie to offer their spin on "Did You Ever". Together they each offer 3 unique takes from house to deep techno, yet managing to stay true to the soulful flavor of the original.

Born and raised in Munich (Germany), 6th floor, left door; father german, mother polish, 1 younger sister. With an incredible rich background of different styles of music, genrefluid Daniela has created a personal style that defines her sound. Her sets and productions expand the boundaries of understanding house and techno music to new horizons, proving her uncompromising diversity on the dancefloor.

In 2010 Danielas piece "EllE Routine" won a "QWARTZ 6 Electronic Music Award" in Paris, FR among artists as Alejandro Jodorowsky, Laurie Anderson, Gudrun Gut, and more.

"Did You Ever" was in 2016 featured as closing track on https://soundcloud.com/moodymann313 ´s DJ mix for "DJ Kicks".
Starting with her very first release, Daniela´s productions made it into the record bags of high profile DJ´s such as Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, tINI, Solomun and many others. In 2015 "Feel The Future" was featured on tINI´s DJ mix for Cocoon Ibiza.

Next to performing live & producing, Daniela was co-running "Parallel Berlin" for 11 years, as A&R, management, events, merch, record label and PR.

In 2021, during the pandemic, Daniela founded https://soundcloud.com/dimensionofbeinghuman, a label, podcast series, art and events.
