This outstanding year forced all of us to slide into new spheres, experience changes and new dimensions of our existence. Daniela La Luz took the chance to write more music aside the dancefloor and got deeper into meditation.

As result of this, she gathered international talented and befriended electronic producers and pianist Natyra Elezi to bring this VA Compilation to life, which´s musical purpose is to function as COPING MECHANISMS, to calm our restless minds. Even if you don´t chase meditation on purpose, this compilation will open up a space to do so.

Festivals, clubs and events are down, which is sad and dramatic for many of us and still life goes on and the term ‚success‘ has reached another definition. Music is still essential for most of us and even if it doesn´t feel like it, we´re still moving forward.

´COPING MECHANISMS (Electronic Meditation)´ is music for the evolutionary development, which is taking place inside of you. The purpose of this compilations music is to ease the mood and open up a portal through which you can go on a journey, encourage and strengthen yourself and stimulate yourself to turn inwards.

From 2008-2018 Berlin based Daniela La Luz was part of „Parallel Berlin“, not only as international touring live act, but also as producer, promoter, A&R and label head. DE FEO's passion for music transcends the confines of the DJ booth. As an entrepreneur with a heart for nurturing talent, he owns two thriving record labels, SMR Underground and T O B E,  digital platforms for emerging artists and non, to shine and share their artistry with the world. In the same time hkeeping the timeless allure of vinyl alive, but with a contemporary way how to perceive them it’s one of his challenges; DE FEO's vinyl shop, Questline, in the vibrant city center of Berlin serves as a haven for collectors and dj alike, a place of networking, and a creative hub for creatives from around the world.

DE FEO extends his influence through the airwaves with his podcast, "Mom, I Want to Be an Artist." This captivating show delves into the inner workings of the art world, sharing intimate stories, insights, and wisdom from fellow musicians and industry pioneers allowed the world.

With the first season recorded in Berlin and the second touring the world, starting from Amsterdam, than Napoili, Beijing and more coming soon, the goal is to learn and share learning experiences for artists to artists in a way never done before.

In 2021 he signed with Flash Recordings by Florian Meindl, and since then
his sound: fast minimal techno, hypnotic industrial, endless grooves, and some experiment with modular music; are his signatures. 

To be marked in 2024 he performed 2 DJ gigs in Beijing at Bye Bye Disco and Solo + a live A/V set where I worked with the first dancer of the Beijing Theater for a b2b music/dance production for an art performance tha past March and a sold out show in the historical Italian music temple Alcatraz in April.

His music as a producer is supported by Younge Male,
Richie Hawtin, Luciid, Dax J, Florian Meindl, Boho, and more.

Born and raised in Munich (Germany), 6th floor, left door; father german, mother polish, 1 younger sister. With an incredible rich background of different styles of music, Daniela has created a personal style that defines her sound. Her sets and productions expand the boundaries of understanding house and techno music to new horizons, proving her uncompromising diversity on the dancefloor.

"Did You Ever" was in 2016 featured as closing track on https://soundcloud.com/moodymann313 ´s DJ mix for "DJ Kicks".
Starting with her very first release, Daniela´s productions made it into the record bags of high profile DJ´s such as Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, tINI, Solomun and many others. In 2015 "Feel The Future" was featured on tINI´s DJ mix for Cocoon Ibiza.

Next to performing live & producing, Daniela was co-running "Parallel Berlin" for 11 years, as A&R, management, events, merch, record label and PR.
