During this time, it was also personally a difficult period in my life, and there weren't many avenues for an output, so I guess music is where I find solace.

Rooftop Calling 23.03.2024 with danielAng [Sunset Progressive]

Stargate Festival was postponed but me and Diane decided to still head up to my hometown in Malaysia, and it was one of the best trips back to Kuala Lumpur for me! I have the privilege of doing 2 sets in this night for the core trance family of Malaysia. Gotta admit, was a bit nervous at the beginning since I am unfamiliar with what the crowd actually fancies, but it all went well in the end.

Kyle 30th Birthday Bash ft danielAng at HABA Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia [2025.06.13]

What a wonderful after-wedding party at Enclave bar, I was skeptical at first as trance and progressive is always an underground genre, but when a few people came to me during the set to tell me to keep doing what I’m doing, it was a great confidence booster.

I did plan out a playlist for my set, but 70% of the track selections went off-script, but that's how life is like, we let things flow, and let the good times roll.

With a zeal for music, Singapore-based Trance & Progressive DJ danielAng (Daniel Ang) is the founder of "TRANCE4M", a local trance & progressive lifestyle brand. Growing up in KL, Daniel dabbled in various classical instruments, finally finding his niche in the electronic music scene after venturing into Dj-ing. His strong foundation in music theory has helped shape him into the artist that he is today.

TRANCE4M was launched by Last One Standing back in 2018, an event management company founded by Daniel. Initially a passion project, its unexpected success has expanded the local trance scene and community . Riding on its success, Daniel has since organised and performed at multiple shows at renowned venues around Singapore.

Inspired by world-class artists like Activa, John Askew, Mark Sherry, Daniel Kandi, Nu NRG, Gai Barone, to name a few.
