Recorded and composed during the month of June 2021, Experimental Music For Films is a collection of work inspired by nature. My creative process involved the gathering of field recordings of my home town and using these recordings to create granular sampled instruments.

Other gear and techniques included tape loops, generative music making techniques using Ableton, Organelle M, Yamaha VSS-30, Koma Field Kit, Korg Monotron Delay, Zoom MS-50g, AC Noises AMA, Grain Scanner, Microgranny, Zoom H4N Pro, Spitfire Audio Labs.

The Final Frontier

Build around a modular synth improvisation using Intellijel's Metropolis sequencer, this composition explores machine made music in contrast to what it means to be human. The fragility of human instruments such as xylophones, glockenspiels, pianos and bass clarinets play the music made by the machines to highlight what it would be like to be part human part machine.
