A nice jazzy chord progression kicks off this tune before improvised leads complete the intro leading into the A section melody, played over the same loop. The B section shifts to a darker mood that plays with time setting up a tasteful return to the A section loop for more improvised leads. Easily looped for all your video game menu needs.

Hey Let's Jazz

Inspired by the musings of Queen Kong, this funky beat evolves into a klezmeresque groove sure to get your toes tappin'.

The bass and guitars play a steady accent pattern in 5 that guides the flow before an ethereal B section shifts the mood.

Parabolic Shift

I started with a drum loop and laid out a high energy rhythmic melody to go along with it. As instruments drop and hit their entries, solos begin and the drums evolve we end up with a ever changing landscape of texture wrapped around a simple A minor blues groove. Every comes together for a unison finish.

A horn section begins with chords and slow breaks off into a rounds of sorts, eventually evolving further to the finish.

Spicy Interlude

My musical journey began as a late teen when I first heard Dimebag Darrell and soon after set off to become a shredder myself. Eventually as a young aduIt I enrolled in a 3 year performance program majoring in classical guitar (minor piano/voice) after learning many of my idols had been inspired by or even trained in classical form. I followed up with 1 year of University while I slowly discovered my love of jazz, and especially Funk music. I've continued my musical journey for a total of 15 years now and in my spare time outside of work I enjoy teaching a few students as well as trying to master the arts of funk bass, guitar, and composition.

I'm far from being  a professional but every now and then I'll post something I feel like I can be proud of. Who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to connect with a few like minded musicians and take this more seriously. That would be awesome.
