Hello everyone I'd like to introduce my new mix series/podcast "Exit Reality". I'm a big fan of listening to mixes and have been since I really got into dance music in my teens. When I started to take my DJing seriously in my early 20s I would post mixes I'd recorded monthly. Something that I really enjoyed doing and definitely helped me gain a few early bookings. For the last few years, I've been slacking. Rarely posting mixes at all, if ever. No excuse, I should be posting new mixes, it's just pure laziness. Now I'm here to correct that with this new "program" called Exit Reality. From now until forever I am committing to posting a new mix every month, with new and old music from the massive house and techno spectrum, recorded at home live and direct.

This month's mix features a lot of new music from friends and a lot of older music a really really love. this mix doesn't stick to 1 sub-genre, it's a real journey through house music. which is the entire point of this mix series. I hope you enjoy listening to this one, I actually had a really really good time recording it. hopefully, next month won't be so late. 😅

Well, here we are again, another whole month late 😅 but I am switching things up a bit for this one. This episode focuses on the other, harder and darker side of what I play. It's a 90-minute journey through the depths of my DJ library. Starting with some Beatless Electronica through dubby tech house, melodic stuff into techno with hints of brakes and electro. MX5 is a return to my favorite style of club track, a simple and effective, deep, stripped-back rolling groove. With a sexy atmospheric pad, that floats around in the background. A celestial arp that filters in and becomes more evident, further into the track. Layered and intertwined synths that bounce off a groove-heavy bassline. All this cemented to breaks inspired a 4x4 beat. MX5 is named after the iconic Mazda two-seater sports car, known as the Mazda Roadster in Japan and the Mazda Miata in the USA.

Here it is, Episode 5 of Exit Reality. I've been listening to a lot of electronica recently so felt inspired to start this mix off with something different instead of just letting it rip at 123bpm straight away. I forced myself to think outside the box by not preparing or editing anything before doing the mix. So this mix starts off at a relaxed 104bpm and we get all the way up to 130 by the end. Hope you enjoy it.

Release 6 of the GT series has arrived. Cerbera is my interpretation of an "in your face" upbeat tech house track. It's heavy on electronic sounds, with a well crafted drum groove, and features all original melodic parts, Perfect for big rooms or dark rooms. Cerbera is named after the legendary sports coupé built by TVR from 1996 to 2006 in Blackpool England.
