A Mystery To Be Revealed

The spider weaves through concrete walls
Caught in her web, I see the creature crawl
Yet closer but never there
Time passes by, the sand slips away
The hissing silence speaks of fear
Of a man who lost his way

	Oh Old Gods, hear my prayer

Crisp bright morning sun
Break the curse of this dying son
Stricken down I feel defeated
Lost all strength, the dark can’t be breached
The virtue, the sin, lost in this idolatry  
Yet morning never came, I have to walk all this length

	Oh Old Gods, hear my prayer
 
		Wind howls calling my name
		Webs consumed by the flame
		Red moon rising on the sky
		And as I break free, I may fly
