I was introduced to the incredible guitar style of Dave Evans by my uncle who showed me Dave’s appearance on The Old Grey Whistle Test playing this song in 1975. Incredible finger style composition played in DADGAD tuning. Had to learn the song after hearing it.

A Tribute To Nick Drake

Full album cover of Merle Travis's Walkin' The Strings. I recorded every instrumental track from Merle Travis' 1960 LP Walkin' The Strings, 17 songs and 17 videos in total. The videos are styled on the Ozark Jubilee and Country Style USA and other country shows from the 1950s. I recorded, designed and directed everything for the videos so the creation of all the videos took a lot of time to complete. I tried to stay faithful to Merle's original recordings as closely as possible. Each song is a note for note cover of the original.
