Hailing from the home of house music, Chicago, but currently residing in New York City, Daniel Cowel is a resident of the highly regarded monthly underground series, ZERO, which regularly hosts the likes of Mira, Satori, Be Svendsen, Rampue & Jan Blomqvist.

As a resident DJ and the Head of Production for the ZERO events, Daniel has been an integral part of the renaissance of New York’s underground music scene since moving to the city in 2011.

Focusing on the deeper sides of house and techno, Daniel’s sound is influenced by the cities he has called home: Chicago, Barcelona, Buenos Aires and New York City. Constantly evolving but always maintaining a sense of groove and soul, Daniel’s style is as varied as the as tthe internationally recognized artists with whom he has shared the stage: Lee Burridge, Kolletiv Trumstrasse, Francesca Lombardo, Bedouin, Acid Pauli & Job Jobse
