As Music is always an Expression of Feelings involving the one who makes the Music (the Producer), the one who plays the Music (the DJ) and the one who listens to the Music (you, the Crowd), I wanted to do a Series of Mixes focussing on the musical Expression of Feelings.

As this is my last Set of the Year 2021, it can be considered as my Yearmix. This 46 Tracks are a 130 BPM Journey through my Year translated into Melodic House, Progressive (House / Breaks) and Trance. Be sure to buy some of your favourite Music, there are some insanely good producers out there, who need your support.

Max Graham's "Bar None" has always been a personal favorite of mine, as well as a crowd pleaser. Unfortunately Max's Original had speed fluctuations throughout the whole track. More than 20 years after its original release I created this Edit, to finally mix the Track in my Sets without pitching it back and forth permanently.

I really like "Return to a Place called Home" by the Warung guys, but it's almost 20 BPM too slow for my sets. For this reason I created this Edit that allows me to play the track without increasing the pitch up to +16.

To use this track again, after almost 30 years of its original release, I made a slower Edit of it.

This one is a little bit special: Throughout the 1990ies there has been a very popular CD-series of Austrian DJs mixing their favorite tracks. The series was called "Favorite Tools" and contained 16 CDs. I took my favorite Tracks out of the 16 Mixes and did my own revisited Favorite Tools Mix.

The Set was also broadcasted on 'La Boum de Luxe' on Austrian radio station FM4 on 03-05-2019, which is the only nationwide radio show, that focuses on Electronic Music in Austria.

Straight Techno with some Acid and classic Elements 01-04-2019

I have always been a Fan of U2. After watching the Video from U2 Pure - 360° Tour - Amsterdam ArenA from 2009 (which you should grab on the Web), I had the Idea to do a Mix of all my favorite Remixes. The Mix reaches from 100 to more than 130 BPM, covers Mixes from 1992 - 2014 and involves Artists like William Orbit, Solar Plexus, Influx, Perfecto (Paul Oakenfold), Pretty Pink, Redanka, Paradise Soul, Killahurtz, Sultan & Miche, Brothers in Rhythm and Hybrid. It more or less reflects most of the Genres I play.

U2 Remixes combined 26-04-2019

As a DJ you always rely on certain Artists and Labels that accompany your Sets through the Years. When it comes to Trance I more or less always had a Track of Kyau & Albert (Kyau vs. Albert) or their Eurphonic Label in my Tracklist in the last two Decades. The German Duo stands for a unique Sound, that I would describe as emotional, melancholic, sad, but uplifting Trance. I picked 20 of their past and present Tracks and did a Mix that reflects their musical output till today. Enjoy this 90 Minutes Journey!

I experienced my first contact with EDM through a Happy-Hardcore-CD of my brother, which I came across by accident. I was fascinated by the speed and intensity of that genre. Through Sven Väth's "L'Esperanza" I got introducted to Trance and via Richie Hawtin's Remix of System 7's "Alpha Wave" to Techno. 1996 I had my early Club-/Rave experiences, which induced me to buy my first records. I started playing at private parties, till I eventually had my premiere rave gig in 1997. Together with my brother I'm also deejaying b2b (Da Brothers gonna work it out / Daniele d'Agnelli vs. Dyrtsta).

I always try not to submit myself to any stylistic boundaries. The audience always decides where the journey goes to.
