The Cosmic Sea Part 1, i a little of a history , I just received the two mp3 files from Daniela, a month ago.  one of the file  was challenging for the conventional sweet ear. ( at the beginning) 
but i love how its  sound !  ......those art pieces that not challenge the viewer and or the listener are like empty....... but this is not the case .   The song begin to form in the realm of Mantras and  strong affirmation / determinations !
.... began to play synthesizers etc ,  .....  took  sounds  from the ipad apps, etc etc  , then it takes a little more time to master the voices, and other details of effects and sound textures, simple, as Daniela's poetry wisely expresses in the lyrics. ,,, enjoy --- is powerful!

In 1950, American adventurers Dana and Ginger Lamb traveled to the jungles of northern Guatemala looking for Maya ruins and a story they could turn into a movie. There they encountered a rich cache of decorated structures made in the first millennium CE, including a particularly elaborate limestone lintel (a horizontal support above a doorway) carved by an artisan named Mayuy. Such objects had and continue to hold great historical, aesthetic, and spiritual significance for Maya people and descendants. Unfortunately, like many Maya ruins, the site has since been looted, and retracing the original locations of the displaced works is challenging. 

In this episode, Stephen Houston, editor of A Maya Universe in Stone, explores the production and complex afterlives of these Maya objects. Houston contextualizes carved lintels within ancient Maya history and visual and spiritual practices, and discusses the fraught nature of their re-emergence in the twentieth century.

Foreword :
The beginning of the global Covid-19 pandemic, in March 2020, and the resulting isolation, unleashed a burst of  musical creativity. I used the time to play, record, and learn, while mastering my own music projects. I have produced a lot of tracks (and counting) in the world of experimentation and collaboration with many other talented artists. And this is just the beginning.
I hope you enjoy listening to this music experiments and sound collages just as much as I did making it.
BIO :During my teenage years in Buenos Aires, I studied piano and music theory at the Juan Pedro de Esnaola Music Conservatory. At the same time, I began taking private drawing and painting classes.
This was encouraged by my father, who also set me on a quest toward freedom of thought and of expression. He also taught me the art of welding and the use of power tools.
My father was something of a polymath: a poet, musician, massage therapist, acupuncturist, tango dancer and more. His example  allowed me to develop my skills, and to turn my curiosities into viable projects.

I have many friends, musicians and visual artists in Argentina and in Miami ,USA
 
In 1990 I  moved to Miami, where I enjoyed the satisfaction of pursuing a wide range of artistic avenues. I developed my career as a visual artist, in sculpture and other media. In 2007, together with Eduardo Balerdi & Sebastian Leder-Kremer, we founded a musical collaborative project called -UOM-Auditory Art . UOM was originally conceived as a multi-disciplinary sound project that paired non-traditional, vintage, and electronic instruments with improvised performance techniques. This project was later enriched and expanded by the creative energies of  many other talented artists, vocalists, poets, and visual artists. These wide ranging collaborations continue to this day.

More recently I re-connected with and old friend from Argentina, the poet and musician Diego Serna  (@Baires Haiku) to revive a music project dating form the time of our studies at the conservatory in the 80's. This new project is called “Organismo Equinoccio”

This project is the continuation and re-imagining of various music projects we first developed in the underground music scene of Buenos Aires. After I settled in the US, both Diego and I continued to develop our own individual visual and musical solo careers, broadening our creative and expressive universes in different cultural spheres.
