Hi beautiful people! Please take time to read the the lyrics and story behind the song; without it, the song is just another noise in cyberspace.

This song came to me a couple of years ago when I was praying and playing the piano by myself. As I went deeper into prayer it became so clear to me that something was going to happen to the people and nation of Sweden. 
The outcome all depends on how the people respond to God. 
It was so clear that there is no "middle" or "lagom", the words I got were: death or glory. 
If we continue to walk our own way and neglect the love of Jesus, then the consequences and the wages of our sin will be death and judgement.  Without the truth in our lives, we will end up in deeper confusion, lies, apathy and darkness. And, if we don't fear God and remain in his shadow of protection, then we will face the judgement of our sin and be exposed to all kinds of disasters!
But, if we turn from our own ways, repent and give our whole lives to Jesus, and let him wake us up from our apathetic sleep, there will be a great spiritual awakening in our personal lives and in our nation. God's heart is aching to change us with His love and power, but He will not do it unless we want to.

So how does God want to wake his people up? 
With his love. 
The words I began to sing at the piano that day were: wake up, sleeping beauty.
The Bible calls Gods people "his bride", and just as Disney's Sleeping Beauty, this bride is indeed sleeping- so apathetic and indifferent to truth, to love and to why we are here!
God's love is the opposite of apathetic! 
His love is burning, He gave everything for us, he bled and died, pursuing our hearts and salvation.
So, He needs to wake us up with a kiss, with a revelation of his love that shakes us from our sleep!

The Bible says that God is inviting everyone to his wedding feast, to celebrate love and eternal life with Him. But, many of those who have accepted this invitation still remain indifferent to the wedding. 
What bride is indifferent to the fact that she is going to get wed? 
No, she should be preparing herself by getting the most beautiful dress and running around fixing everything in excitement, making sure every detail is perfect for the great day! 
This life is our preparation day, getting our lives ready for our true love.

Jesus loves you, let Him wake you up and dress you up. Don't press the snooze button, you could miss everything.

To challenge myself in being productive i sat down one afternoon and improvised some noise. 
Took about 2-3 hours (dinner included) to make everything up from scratch and get it into a mp3-file. All instruments by me, exept drums from EZdrummer. 
No fancy shit but it was fun, and the lyrics are acually some dynamite. 
Here are the lyrics and a bibleverse i found for the message of the song.

A half-spontaneous song of what i experienced was God's heart for my home country Sweden when i stayed in South Africa 2018. Rough recording, one mic, very quick production. Jesus loves the people of Sweden, no matter what they think about Him.

Ok, this is the first complete song i've ever written with piano and played by my self. So this grand piano was a big challenge both to play and record with. A bit scary... but i suppose scaring yourself is developing for ya :)
