i made this track to close out a party we threw some time ago. the scene is one that I will never forget. dropping this track in a room bouncing with energy was akin to throwing a match on a pile of lighter fluid.

greetings beautiful humans! after another trip around the sun, i am proud to present the second volume of my fall mixtape! i have been looking forward to this and exploring ideas for this mixtape for months now -- so much so that it became increasingly difficult to decide what its final form was going to be.

i ended up going with this one because i think it captures for me what defines fall: excitement, love, and nostalgia. you'll hear excitement in the bangin floozies and dirt monkey colab that opens the tape and in a first of a kind (in my mixtapes) pop mashup between hudson mohawke's black cherry and 100gecs hand crushed by a mallet! love manifests itself in the form of daily bread's aptly named love anthem, this kind of love, and in some tracks that i have been dying to get on a tape such as tripp st's styles and jade cicada's komorebi. we close out the tape with one of the most nostalgic tracks in my library - daily bread's walking through the georgia rain. that little loop at the end of the tape will make more sense here in a month or so :)

anyway, i hope your fall is filled with moments grinning ear to ear, taking in the cool air and love that fills it -- i know mine surely has been so far! see you very soon with another exciting chapter! - M
