My soundtrack, the fourth song, for the highly praised game jam game Insynth!

Insynth - Night Hunter

This piece was composed for the game "The Land of the Brave", programmed by a student at CSULB that I met through the help from Dr. Shockley. The game was an adventure game that called for a grand orchestral soundtrack. The first part of the piece is the Main Title theme, which incorporates peaceful performance of the horn and low strings, ending on a sad oboe solo. The second piece is a boss battle theme, which heightens up the emotions. The final theme, the trailer theme for the game, recalls all of the previous themes. The piece can also be performed live with a septet group.

Land Of The Brave

This piece was written for a Virtual Reality puzzle game called Mindblock. The theme I was to work with was “Wonder and Beauty”, within a computerized world with sentient programs interacting with the player. The piece incorporates three synths which can be performed and controlled by live players, along with live violin, cello and a piano.

Left Alone - Garden Warrior

First Flight is the music that plays when the player is in the training ground, flying around on their broom for the first time. It has two variations; Daytime for when the melody of the game plays, and Nighttime for more militaristic and slightly more ominous version. It conveys a feeling of openness and joy.

King of Drifts - Big Band style

Music for Flight, span out over 7 minutes in length. The music in this game is adaptive and it changes according to your progress in the game. Each layered stem adds new instruments as well as intensity to the music, making it very effective at telling a story and narrative through music.

This is the music for within the starting area - the Treehouse. It's filled with cute, friendly NPC snails who give you advice and tell you not to go outside.

When Clover first leaves the Treehouse, they're met with two guard snails who tell her to be careful. There's a bit of uneasiness from the darkness from the entrance of the forest. Will Clover be brave enough to continue forward? :)

This is the music that plays in Clover's Room. Clover is a snail who's very scared of the unknown world around it. I wanted the player to feel cozy while in Clover's Room.
