today we bring you our first ever 3-track EP, from another new up-and-coming artist named Erder, otherwise known as Erdertainment.

Erder is a 15 year old producer from Germany, and we are very excited to welcome him to our family at Night Owl Collective. he likes to experiment with many different styles, which we love, and his focus is mostly on jazz-influenced music, so he will fit right in.

when we had our submissions open, Erder was one of the first people to send me a submission that i really fell in love with, which was his song "Underneath" (track 3 on the EP). after listening to it a couple times, I checked out some more of his music and really started to dig deeper into his style. 

we decided to put a little EP together, and now we are so excited to share it with you! this EP is truly full of good vibes. the title track, "Lookalike", is a deep house track with a melody you can play over and over again. the second track, "Senpai", is a mixture of chill trap and future bass, with hard hitting 808s and lush synth work. and the final track, "Underneath", is a very unique piece of music, with a bossa nova type of sound, mixed with the vibes you would get while playing a video game like Animal Crossing. all in all, these three tracks are very different, but still compliment each other very well, and we will certainly have this EP on repeat for a long time <3

today, two new little birdies enter our nest. S. Lyre, and L. Lyre, otherwise known as the one and only Superb Lyres. they each have their own unique style, but when they work together it creates a whole new magical sound. we are very pleased to have them be a part of our family, and we welcome them with open wings.

their track, "Sober", is simply a work of art. there are many beautiful noises to be heard in this piece of music. this is a good one for sitting back and just closing your eyes and letting it take you to another realm.

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlins vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Olivers heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhain's best and most loved restaurants, is just around the corner. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail.

Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners extensive background in Berlins club scene of the early days. Julian Wassermann steps up to the SVT plate with an immersive four track effort that showcases his knack for deep tech melodies. A minimal bassline and synths straight from the depths of space lay the groundwork for Alpha, the kickoff into the EP. A subtle yet effective mood-setter, it makes for a great inaugural cut as the release unfolds. Title piece Aurea calmly follows, looming in with tribal infused percussion and lush, effusive vocals. Garnering an equally atmospheric mood, Wassermann aptly combines airy pads and dark synths into an immensely polarizing cut. People Are Strange dives in on a more dynamic note, centered around a solid bassline with alternating synth lines. Swiftly morphing into an energetic banger via punchy bass and ghostly vocal chops, the construction carries major peak time appeal. For the final contribution Imperia, Wassermann calls on the production skills of fellow Muenchener H.B.C. to create a radiant piece of spacious tech. Layering modular strobes and arpeggiated synths, their production styles merge harmoniously, resulting in a dancefloor-ready strapping groove.
