The two dirty birdies from Hageby are back with the Back In The Day EP! The title cut flips a classic Brooklyn funk sample into a deep house burner, Last Night really gives it to us (baby), and Estrelar showcases the groovy disco side of the 'Two. Rounding out the EP is a Daniel Leseman remix that reworks the title track into a completely fresh production, bringing the deep dance floor heat for which the FOUK member and Outplay Records co-boss is known. All killa no filla!

Peter Clamat - Filzkugel (Daniel Leseman Remix) (STW Premiere)

For the fourth Outplay vinyl release we welcome Laurence Guy to the family and have Brame & Hamo on remix duties. It’s paired with two originals by Outplay's own Junktion and Daniël Leseman.
Laurence delivers a wonderful synth driven opener with “Strings Attached”. While Junktion brings his familiar grooves with the jazzy “Breakfast at Midnight”, Brame & Hamo flip it into a dubby stomper to heat up the floors. Daniël Leseman gets to round up the EP with his warm and melodic “On My Mind”.

The White Tapes EP of new @secretreels features three original tracks by Kian T (@kiantmusic) and a B side remix by Dutch wizard Daniel Leseman (@danielleseman), which we have the pleasure of premiering here today. 

Daniel takes the original, raw vibes of “Flughafen” and flips it on its feet into a clean-cut, sanguine affair. His signature warm chords and brassy synths are front and center, turning the spacey, atmospheric elements and twinkly keys taken from the original into complementary background pieces. A not too busy, club-oriented groove with hand drums, muted cowbells, crisp hats and jazzy rides gives the melodic elements room to breathe and helps solidify the track as one you’re sure to dance to in the near future.

From Malta to Argentina, two talented producers from very different parts of the world came together and result can be best described as groovy, hypnotic with a bit of funk. Surely to be a staple in sets of many DJs, the release also has 3 remixes, each one bringing something different to the table.
