Alan Fitzpatrick and his We Are The Brave imprint celebrate their 85th release with a stomping 3 track EP from Italian artist Lowerzone.

Renowned for his dark and raw techno style, Lowerzone makes his debut with ‘Molecules’, a mysteriously captivating EP laden with a solid and engaging groove. Trialled by Fitzpatrick at Fabrik Madrid, Shine Belfast and WHP Manchester; the relentless rave inspired tracks have lit fires in the club circuit, sending dancers into a euphoric frenzy.  

“Molecules” has fast-flowing rhythms with thrashing hi-hats and a rave inspired synth line. “New Ravers” has a ‘90s influenced sound with its tension building drops and dramatic use of vocal phrases. “Tonight Is Acid” does exactly what it says on the tin, with its driving acid lead augmented with industrial edged percussion.

Following the massive success of tracks like 'Atom' and 'Alone feat. Ursula Rucker', German techno duo 2pole return to Christian Smith's Tronic label with a new dance floor anthem, 'Run'.

Having been heavily road-tested by the duo for months, the track is an undeniable peak-time banger, soaked in the duo's signature larger-than-life sound. 'Run' sees 2pole once again collaborate with US downbeat artist Ursula Rucker, who lends her powerful lyrics and beautiful vocals to the track. 

'With our track 'Alone; we had a big Beatport number one,' 2pole say. 'It's not easy to get a nice follow-up, but we think that we did it with our forthcoming album and the new song we made with Ursula Rucker.'

As usual, the duo relied heavily on hardware gear when producing the track, opting for equipment like the Minimoog analogue synthesizer, a Novation Peak desktop synthesizer and a Roland TR-909 drum machine. Aside from the original mix of 'Run', the release also features a vocal-intro-tool of the monstrous breakdown of the title track.

'Run' will be released as the lead single from 2pole's debut artist album, dubbed 1ne and 2wo, which is a double LP. 1ne will come out on June 24th, 2019 and 2wo will follow suit on July 29th, 2019.
