Colomboi es un DJ y Productor de la ciudad de Bogotá. Miembro del colectivo de vieja guardia The Hindie Corp y artista con releases en sellos como Refluxed Records y Raw Quarter. El sonido de Colomboi se define en sonidos rápidos sin dejar de lado el ritmo que tanto lo caracteriza groovero y cortante. Ha compartido escenario con grandes artistas como Luke Slater, Surgeon y Truncate y se encuentra posicionado como uno de los mejores DJs de “groove” del país.

Colomboi's sound is defined in fast sounds without leaving aside the rhythm that characterizes him so much groovy and cutting. He has shared the stage with great artists such as Luke Slater, Surgeon and Truncate and is positioned as one of the best groove DJs in the country.

In this release, David Meiser investigates the influence of mathematics on his work. Specifically, the patterns generated in a type of spiral called the «Fibonacci Spiral», which can be found in numerous processes that occur in nature, such as the formation of galaxies or the stages of development of the embryo.

It is the Spanish producer's first work not exclusively oriented to the dance floor. The EP is conceived as a research project where music and mathematics are intertwined to give rise to a journey of fractal nature through the succession and variation of sounds.

In addition, the author has worked on a special version of the tracks intended to be interpreted by Artificial Intelligence (AI) engines. For this purpose, special WAV format files (192KHz, 32b) have been created what allows messages and instruments to be stored in bands that are not audible to humans, but which computers can access.

- This is my first release, and with it, I want to share not just music, but an honest part of myself.
I didn’t follow any rules or stick to a specific genre while creating it—I simply let my thoughts, emotions, and sonic obsessions speak for themselves. Every sound here was crafted with the intention of gradually shaping what will become my sound, my identity.

This project is the first step on a path that’s just beginning. I know there’s still a lot to improve, but I also know that everything you hear here was made with passion, dedication, and a fully self-taught process.

More music will come this year, but this EP… this one is special.
Thank you for listening. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.


- Es mi primer lanzamiento y con él quiero compartir no solo música, sino una parte honesta de mí. No seguí reglas ni géneros al componerlo; simplemente dejé que mis pensamientos, emociones y obsesiones sonoras hablaran por sí solos. Cada sonido está con la intención de acercarme poco a poco a lo que será mi sonido, mi identidad.

Este proyecto es el primer paso de un camino que apenas comienza. Sé que hay mucho por mejorar, pero también sé que todo lo que está aquí lo hice con pasión, con dedicación y desde un aprendizaje completamente autónomo.

Este año vendrá más música, pero este EP... este es especial.
