On this episode me and Sam Sawchuk the  CoFounder of Sandwich for a story talk Sandwiches.


Who is Sam?

Sam Sawchuk is currently the CoFounder of Sandwich for a Story, a global awareness initiative that looks to break down stigma between the homeless and the rest of society. Sandwich for a Story has impacted thousands of people across the globe by using storytelling as a medium to develop empathy through familiarity. The organization connects passionate people with the disenfranchised in their community, to help cultivate a sense of understanding that is essential to ending the negative stereotypes that confine the lives of many people suffering from homelessness. Since its founding, the organization has given out over four thousand meals, hellos, and smiles and connected with people in over 26 countries through speaking engagements and the web.


Sam has dedicated himself to making the stigma around homelessness a global issue and has launched a number of unique awareness initiatives through his organization in cities around the globe through social media and live exposés. He has held various roles in startup communities across North America including Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver and San Francisco with a focus on getting students involved in entrepreneurship. Sam also serves as the co-founder and CEO of BrandSchools, a company which empowers youth to create their path through digital skills learning. A passionate believer in the power of technology to connect and inspire, Sam has held a variety of positions technology in the technology industry at Ayogo Health, Uber, Hired and Startup Calgary. Sam’s work has been featured at the United Nations, TEDx, the Clinton Global Initiative, and most recently he was invited to attend the exclusive Forbes Under 30 Summit in Boston this October, 2016.

Ryan is the COO of Community Co a company poised to launch dozens of vetted  communities engineered to help ambitious professionals grow their network and expand  business opportunities. He’s also co­-founded The Young Entrepreneurs Council, an invitation  based event for founders, or co­founders, owners or co-owners that are 40 years old or  younger, your business generates a minimum of $1M in revenue, or have a minimum of $1M in  financing  with headquarters or an office located in North America. The  Young  Entrepreneurs  Council is One of America's Most Successful Communities for Business Professionals" stated  by Entrepreneur.
