Stellar work. A most excellent production and arrangement that that maintains the immediacy of emotion in Craig's original recording. It is not easy to work with a dedicated pre-existing recirding and to match sound and feel in this way. You two remain a great team with such well matched sensibilities.

I wrote this song when I was traveling the world in my 20s. I arranged and wrote the instrumental parts. My former band The Borderless Puzzle recorded this version on our album Now Feel This. I'm playing the bass and singing.

The Game

This is an original song taken from a live recording of Craig singing with guitar and then adding Nat’s wonderful harmony vocals, piano and other production touches to give it the best presentation. It captures the dread of a loved one departing, the heavy anticipation of the moment of final departure, never to return. Could be applied to numerous situations.

January’s fool steps out into the limelight.
The first day of the year is always filled with fear
