É com muita emoção que compartilho este Set gravado no Arkana Festival, em um dos lugares mais sagrados e inspiradores que já tive o privilégio de vivenciar: o Vale Sagrado dos Incas, no Peru.

Minha conexão com o Peru foi imediata e profunda. Desde o momento em que cheguei, fui completamente cativado pela essência de um povo humilde e guerreiro. É um país onde a cultura ancestral e a alma dos povos originários são mantidas vivas e vibrantes há muitos anos, transbordando em cada paisagem, em cada rosto. Acolhedor e feliz, o povo peruano exala uma energia única que me abraçou por completo.

No festival, reencontrar amigos queridos e conhecer artistas que sempre admirei foi a culminação de uma experiência única. Trabalhei intensamente para entregar um set que estivesse à altura de tamanha ocasião, trazendo minhas maiores referências da Padang Records. O resultado foi uma pista linda, pulsante, com uma energia simplesmente surreal – um daqueles momentos que se gravam para sempre na memória e na alma.

Este Set é um pedaço dessa jornada, da minha dedicação à música e da magia inesquecível do Peru. Tenho a certeza de que um dia retornarei a este solo sagrado para deixar uma nova mensagem musical escrita no Vale Sagrado dos Incas.

It is with an emotion that transcends words that I share this Set, recorded at Arkana Festival, in one of the most sacred and inspiring places I have ever had the privilege to experience: the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in Peru.

My connection with Peru was immediate and profound. From the moment I arrived, I was completely captivated by the essence of a humble and warrior people. It is a country where ancestral culture and the soul of its indigenous peoples have been kept alive and vibrant for many years, overflowing in every landscape, on every face. Welcoming and joyful, the Peruvian people exude a unique energy that fully embraced me.

At the festival, reuniting with dear friends and meeting artists I've always admired was the culmination of a unique experience. I worked intensely to deliver a set that was worthy of such an occasion, bringing my biggest references from Padang Records. The result was a beautiful, pulsating dance floor, with simply surreal energy – one of those moments that are etched forever in memory and soul.

This Set is a piece of that journey, of my dedication to music, and of the unforgettable magic of Peru. I am certain that one day I will return to this sacred ground to leave a new musical message written in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

For some extra mind and soul food seek The Prophet for one of those special audioillustrated interviews as we are waiting for the new Flooting Grooves album.

Flooting Grooves is Pearce van der Merwe, born in South Africa, based Istanbul, Turkey at the moment. Heavily influenced by groups like Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Motorpsycho and Jethro Tull, his production is a fusion of live elements with flute, guitar and percussion with electronica, resulting in a melting pot of pleasurable psychedelia to groove the body and sooth the soul! His music ranges from very chilled downtempo right up to more progressive beatz. Live performances are enhanced by the use of silver flute and computer fx.
