Michael Mayer, aka Mr. Lava Lava asked a bunch of his absolute favourite artists to have a go at some of the tracks from his recent album 'The Floor Is Lava'. First up is Barcelona's brightest flame, RAXON, who is melting 'Brainwave 2.0' into a stompin fun-filled primetime banger. Longtime collaborator DAVE DK is a masterful producer and remixer that appears regularly on Pampa and Kompakt. His take on 'The Solution' feels like a road trip to paradise and back. Montreal's PRIORI is one of the hottest names in showbiz right now. His ability to bridge genres and create pristine sound designs is fully on display in his remix for 'The Solution'. Last but not least, the legend that is SEBASTIAN MULLAERT took a moment off from his revered Circle Of Live jams to transform the albums deepest cut 'Ardor' into an extraordinary musical journey. Oldschool Border Community vibes in the rebound!

Berlin’s Tal Fussman returns to Rekids with the ‘Walking on Mars’ EP, releasing 7th November 2025. It follows the Survival Tactics boss’ recent album on Binh’s Time Passages, as well as his ‘Definition’ (2024) and ‘I Feel’ (2025) EPs on Rekids, with Fussman’s fresh spin on classic House and Techno winning support from the likes of Raresh, Cromby, DVS1, Saoirse, Carista, Honey Dijon, and many more.

The ‘Walking on Mars’ EP opens with ‘Crystallized’, a cavernous cut exclusive to 12”, where Tal Fussman pares back his signature percussive style in favor of a rolling groove set against a deep, atmospheric backdrop. ‘Who’s Who?’ follows, its wild sequences and skewed drumlines colliding in restless motion, before giving way to ‘Sea of Blue’, a pure rhythmic trip infused with dub textures and a hypnotic, evocative vocal sample.

The title track, ‘Walking on Mars’, drives forward on hard-hitting drums that gradually unfold into a soulful house melody, setting the stage for ‘Knowledge_Machine’, a razor-sharp electro finale of snaking synths and an apt robotic vocal. Fussman’s versatility shines throughout, with the EP already winning support from Antal, Rene Wise, Marcel Dettmann, and Fred P.

Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids has since launched the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. She is a sound poet between depth and clarity. Berlin is alive with energy, and at its center a DJ shapes her own sonic universe: Do You Know Juno, an artist who doesn’t simply play records but tells stories that unfold between rhythm and emotion. Her sets radiate warmth, intuition and a deep affection for jazz-infused textures, all carried exclusively through vinyl. Her musical fingerprint is unmistakable, as she weaves acoustic jazz elements into danceable beats and creates an atmosphere that is both gentle and driving, rich with organic detail.

This distinctive blend has earned her appearances alongside artists such as Dan Shake, Daniel Avery and Detroit Techno Militia. With a colorful selection ranging from nu-jazz and disco to house, organic grooves and tightly layered, dance-focused rhythms, Juno builds dynamic arcs that feel both sophisticated and instantly captivating. Every record is chosen with intent, every transition opens a new chapter, forming a flow that draws listeners deeper and deeper into her world.
Since moving to Berlin, Juno has been gaining increasing attention. In her conversation with Andre Kronert, she reflects on how the city has shaped her artistic approach and why Berlin has become a fertile ground for her ideas. Here she developed her own event series, including “Jazz on Toast” and “Burnin’ to Blue”, both of which celebrate jazz-based club culture while exploring new ways to connect live sensibilities with contemporary dancefloor expression.

Whether she is playing sunlit rooftop sessions, intimate club nights or sharing the booth with internationally respected artists, Do You Know Juno brings a sound that is grounded yet full of energy. Her style leaves a lasting imprint that resonates long after the final record spins out.
