I'm just a dude from Evansville, Ind. who enjoys playing Irish folk music.  I am a practitioner of goatwhackery, that is, I play the bodhrán (pronounced BOW-ron; "Take a bow, Ron") which is a frame drum native to Ireland, made out of a circular wood frame with a goat skin (or sometimes the skin of other types of animals, or synthetic skin) stretched over one end, and played with what's called a tipper, or cipín in Irish Gaelic.  I have also been known to dabble in tinwhistling and guitar strumming, but you won't hear a whole lot of that from me as I'm not that good at such things.
