The tenth rework in the series comes from Daniel Verhagen. His delicate chords and textured, organic take on electronic music have been a calming presence in the oleeva catalogue. This beautiful edit of Ed Carlsen's Otto has all of Daniel's trademark touches and we're so happy to finally be sharing it. The perfectly fitting photograph was snapped on 35mm film in Canada by the amazing Brie Frégeau.

This is the penultimate podcast of this year. And before we embark on the next year and begin preparations for the holidays, let’s just pause for a minute, take a deep breath and try to remember all the good moments we’d like to keep and all those we’d be happy to leave behind; the people we discovered and those we lost this year; the trips that helped us find things we couldn't even imagine existed and recognize ourselves the way no one ever expected; all the new flavors we tasted and the new music that poured into our brains and spread to all the possible corners. And finally, let’s also acknowledge that we lived this year too — at times the way we wanted, at times the way we could. @danielverhagenmusic’s music, meanwhile, will hopefully help you in this process.

Kiku is here, the next various artist album on Oleeva. Featuring label mainstays such as Daniel van der Zwaag, Didacte and Sam Goku whilst also providing a spotlight and platform for newly discovered debutants such as Alec Robertson and 3 S. The release is a testament to the diversity and originality of these artists and the sounds they’re capable of creating. A colorful, cohesive, aural trip that spans the spectrum of electronica, house and techno. 26 tracks for you to live with and get to know over the coming months.

Daniel Verhagen's contribution to the album is one of the darker, more thought-provoking tracks. The first in a string of new productions after somewhat of a hiatus, 'You' is a broody slow-burner laced with organic drum programming and subtle synth work.
