This song is for my mother most. The worry i know i put her through growing up. I was always the one in trouble, always the one falling out of trees, always the one the police were calling round for.
Im glad that i have the family and friends that i have. Glad that i have learnt how to behave now too.

My Spirit

I wrote this song back in 2006. Recorded it at Orange Studio's Penmaenmawr in 2013.
The lyrics to the mid 8th say
- you say you'd never break my heart again

This isnt about a girl, this is how i'd feel when i would relapse from a certain substance.
The second it went in, the guilt, the come down, everything negative came flooding back to reality of it as it shadowed me with misery.
Im glad to say that im never going back. This song is that therapy for me, my reminder of that destruction.

I wrote this song in 2010 on my friends Spanish guitar whilst sat in my kitchen blazed. Reflecting on how id been. :)
