Fértil Discos proudly presents the debut of its new series, Fértil Club, a bold exploration of global dance music rooted in both ancestral and futuristic sounds. Curated by DJ Nim, the inaugural release features Pawkarmayta—the project of Peruvian musician Anthony Paucarmayta—who delivers an introspective and ceremonial sonic experience.

The first single, “YLLA”, blends traditional Andean elements with a deeply electronic pulse, offering a hypnotic and danceable fusion that transcends genre. It precedes the upcoming album Aramu (Serpent of the Andes), set for release on September 19. The nine-track work is composed entirely in C minor, a key often associated with altered states of consciousness, meditation, and trance.

Composed between 2019 and 2020 during the pandemic lockdown, Aramu reflects Pawkarmayta’s immersion in sound healing and ambient field recordings. Through the use of healing frequencies, he invites listeners to “leave the city through the mind,” reclaiming sound as refuge, portal, and medicine.

The release also includes a powerful dancefloor-ready remix by El Remolón, Fértil’s label manager, offering a fresh and expansive reinterpretation of Ylla for global DJ sets.

Heute gibt es mal wieder seit langer Zeit eine Live-Production-Session. Diesmal hab ich es geschafft eine der noch sehr raren ProduzerInnen an die Regler bzw. den Rechner für uns zu locken --- was mich sehr sehr freut. Hier sei auch nochmal erwähnt … liebe Frauen traut euch ran ans Produzieren … ist gar nicht so schwer und tut auch nicht weh … mehr Sound von Frauen wäre äußerst wünschenswert. 

Gun/lla ist eine junge Berliner Musikerin, deren Musik eine Inspiration aus frischen, schnellen und minimalistischen Sounds ist. Sie liebt die knackigen Basslines und satten Beats, wo sich der Körper einfach bewegen muss. Perkussive Sounds mit kleine Verwirrungen im Takt sind ihre Leidenschaft und erzeugen so den gewissen „aha“ Effekt. Aber viel Zeit zum abdriften lässt sie einem nie … weil der Beat einen sofort wieder zum Tanzen animiert. 

Das Set für meine Reihe ist sehr instrumentell geworden da sie nicht wie normal dazu live eingesungen hat. Was mich persönlich aber nicht stört … da hier nun der schöne minimale Ansatz sehr roh und rau rüberkommt … genau mein Ding.

Gunilla es freut mich sehr dich in meiner kleine feinen Live-Production-Reihe zu begrüßen und ich kann nur sagen … ich bin viel mehr als angetan … ich bin äußerst begeistert sogar.

So und nun liebe Hörer wie immer an der Stelle … viel Freude bei Gunilla und ihrer Herzöffnung im Monat Mai … was unsere Welt auf jeden Fall gut vertragen kann.

Daniel Zuur – Electronic musician, Producer & Live Composer

Daniel has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. His unique sound and organic mixes have earned him a name in the alternative electronic music scene, as his sets have been attributed to being melancholic, dynamic but above all, deeply melodic.
In 2012, the artist earned the award for “Best Producer” at Vinylized, the biggest Dutch competition for producers in the scene. Daniel has continued producing and played live at national and international clubs and festivals such as: Kater Holzig (Berlin), Katerblau (Berlin) Sisyphos (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Perron (Rotterdam), Tivoli (Utrecht), Pleinvrees (Amsterdam), Shoeless (Amsterdam), Thuishaven (Amsterdam), Baum (Bogota, Colombia) and Next Mondays Hangover (Amsterdam).
In the summer of 2013, the producer released the “Tesla EP” with the hit “Never Gonna Break” on Berlin’s renowned label: Katermukke. Further labels on which he has released his work are: Manual Music, Cinematique and on his own label, Zauer Records of which he is owner and founder.
Haunted by the drums and his experience as a drummer in several bands, Daniel has developed an exceptional rhythm and sound that no label will do justice. Terms such as deep techno or house don’t cover enough ground. The producer composes sets that exist in their own singularity; every single one being an individual story that creates its own atmosphere. Every set is textured by a whole variety of original tracks that he adapts with precise care and proper timing live on stage: dialogues, natural sounds and warm beats, all treated into a highly dynamic and unique set. Consequently, no live set will ever be identical.
Daniel has been working together with other musicians such as singer/songwriter Florian Wolff. The interaction between his organic electronic sounds and other musical instruments ¬– with elements of jazz, pop and rock – create a unique and strikingly complete entity. The dialogue between every piece and instrument is exciting in the ear of the beholder. In this sense, Daniel is an extraordinary creative, always striving for progressiveness in his work.
