Something a bit different, wanted to create something more atmospheric that created an image in your head. I feel really proud of the piece, working within the idea of a minimal piece creating a big vibe. Hope you enjoy it!

A Silhouette In The Fog

Track 1 of my Sci-fi concept EP, The Terran War.
This track's concept is the first instance of contact between Earth and extra-terrestrial life. The sound that can be heard in the background is the sound of Uranus' moon Miranda taken from a NASA satellite.

Contact

Cryptid represents that uncomfortable feeling that you are being watched. Whether it be by something super natural or an unwanted guest in your home. I created it to personify the sense of paranoia that can come with long periods of solitude.

I haven't composed an orchestral piece and quite some time so I thought I would change that! I always like to have an image in mind when I write an orchestral piece and as I composed this song I kept being drawn to german expressionism - most notably Nosferatu. I hope you enjoy it!

It Watches, It Waits

Anguish is a raw and honest portrayal of pain and anxiety that comes with a depressive episode. I really wanted to let out a lot of my negative energy with this one, and in doing so created my favourite piece in this project so far. It did a lot to let out a great deal of negative emotion.

Had the idea for this piece in mind for a wee while now and since I had plenty free time today, I thought why not bring it to life. Also, the closest thing I have released to me singing!

A Wick's Warm Glow

After a long time of wanting to follow up my Lavender Town orchestral arrangement I finally got round to recreating the mt. moon theme from Pokemon in an orchestral style.

Mt. Moon

Tried something very new to me, while traveling home from a holiday in York by train, I decided to record the sounds of my surroundings and use any environmental sounds that happened to be recorded and use those sounds to create a song. I had a lot of fun making it and it  is really cool to think that if I had recorded 10 minutes sooner or later, the song could have turned out completely different due to the sounds I would have captured!

A wee jazz fusion/guitar solo track I have been working on for a bit. I hope you enjoy it!

Chimerical

I released this song a year ago, but had some mix issues, so I finally got around to fixing it. I hope you dig this long chilled out ambient song. Perfect for meditation, relaxing and other chill activities.

As The Earth Reclaims All That Was

My first (hopefully of many) songs created by working with found sounds. This song was made only working with the sound of TV static. All the drums and synths started out as the same one sample that can be heard fading in at the start.

Stagnant Masses

Solace is a laid back solo bass piece. I love solo bass music from the likes of Michael Manring, Evan Brewer and Rob Scallon but this was the first time I actually got around to writing a song and recording it. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm Dani.
I am a multi-instrumental musician from Scotland. I have a great love for music of many styles. I create a wide range of music stylistically but I have a particular fondness for writing chilled out electronic ambient music, experimental lowercase sound art and dark cinematic scores and orchestral pieces.
