Pieseň som napísal o pocite zamilovaní sa. Pri produkcii som sa inšpiroval hudbou 80tych rokov tunajšej scény (Michal David, Vašo Patejdl) a novodobou vlnou synthpopu.

Imagine a year filled with health battles and enduring not one but two surgeries. Now, picture the unwavering strength it takes to be the pillar of support for your family and friends throughout it all. This is the heart of my journey, and it's beautifully captured in this song.

The spoken word intro, 'You don't always have to be the strong one,' unveils my innermost thoughts and the raw emotions behind this track. It's not just a song; it's a testament to resilience.

I wrote the song for my best friend back in 2018, when they were going through a really tough time. After going through a tough year myself, I felt like it was finally the time to share this song with the world.

We invest so much energy and time into certain things and people and sometimes it all just falls apart in a matter of seconds, and we are left with nothing and no one. It just feels as if time itself has stolen everything from us. And you have to be strong for people in your life, who are also going through tough stuff and carrying all that shit is just exhausting. It's hard to always be the strong one.

Strong One

Written after ending a situationship full of unattainable expectations and feelings of inadequacy, and coping with it by promiscuity; my upcoming song ‘Drowning in Fire’ embodies the overwhelming pressure of expectations other people place on you - it makes one feel like they’re drowning, but it’s not a soothing water they’re drowning in but rather an unforgiving fire. It draws inspiration from my own self-destructive behaviour.

Drowning In Fire

It's about bereavement and how the first days after losing someone feel like a bad dream you cannot wake up from. So many people lost someone in the past years, especially during the pandemic. It's dedicated to my dearest nan. After moving to London, I realised just how precious those joyful moments with your loved ones are. Maybe someone going through loss can feel a little less alone and understood; and maybe others remember to lean into those moments of joy before it's too late.

This is the first track from my debut EP, 'It's All Love, Babes.' This collection explores different forms of love-romantic, parental, self-love coming from the place of self-loathing.
Strawberry Sunset captures the fleeting, youthful love that makes you see the world through rose-tinted glasses, the kind you experience only when you're young and stupid. It's about idolising someone and the heartbreak when reality shatters that illusion. I wrote this song while literally walking through downtown Prague at night, tears streaming down my face, clutching a wine bottle, people looking at me like I was mad. It was in that moment I realised the love I thought I had was never real, just a figment of my imagination and what could have been.
