Here's a short ambient piece, the idea first came to me as it was about to rain and I imagined a certain kind of atmosphere I felt I needed to capture. 

I've been working on some classical piano and neo-renaissance music, and have been busy with some other music work, pardon the absence. There is nothing I want more to get back to routine releasing but I will have to be delayed a bit longer I'm afraid. On the bright side, there will be some more little songs coming in the coming months, and hopefully a bigger surprise in December.

In a few days also, there will be a short stop-motion film debuting with my full original foley and soundtrack, so look out for that!

No external foley/recordings or loops are used, everything is done from original sounds and recordings.

The whole process creating it was such a beautiful experience!
We were making music together for the first time, sharing ideas and just spending some quality time meanwhile we were doing something that you love. 

And what makes this release even more special is that the cover art was drawn by my dad (Gonzalo Solis) 🖤  which makes it all feel even more personal.

Emotional Intelligence

DJ/producer, UK-born Daniel Fowler grew up in Malaysia and Hong Kong. Influenced by classic pop/rock songs from the '60s - '80s, heavy metal, rap and '90s' video games, Daniel throws genres and predictability out the window to delight audiences with plump basslines, flush chords, and (of course) cheeky glitches. Daniel has released music with Glitch Hop label Digital Whomp as Filth Wizards and released on After Hours, Hits! District and Funky Panda.

Daniel Fowler is also co-founder of Electric Mirage with fellow DJ and close friend Douglas Black. 

"Douglas Black and Daniel Fowler met in the Hong Kong nightlife scene and quickly became close friends with a shared passion for music.

They also share a passion for connecting with people, and the vision of Electric Mirage was born: create a world where people can come together, express themselves, and connect while listening to meticulously curated music from around the globe.
