Talkin In 3rd Person (Prod. WeatherMan🌦️XXL)

This is my track from the February 2025 Beatmaker Bootcamp at Melodics. Entirely made with Ableton Live using stock instruments and plugins. A new experience for me as I normally work more with samples. Inspiration for the synth bass and melody came from the G Funk of Dr Dre.

Here's a brand new track that's all about the power of community & support! I'm super excited to share my first-ever rap collaboration with the talented Cozmo Jethro. The story behind this song is pretty cool - Jed & I practically asked each other to collaborate at the same time, without even knowing we were on the same wavelength. What started as a coincidence turned into a harmonious union. I had already been working on a tribute song for Jed & some amazing SC artists. Had no idea that was his idea TOO. Rather than choose another idea we decided to create another tribute as something special together. THROUGH THE MIST

My first ever recorded guitar instrumental, guys... well, some years ago :) Come as it was played originally, with some subtle 2016 remastering. One day I played this light piano back loop and then improvised the tune with my Cordoba Nylon String guitar. Added few lines of bass, flute, strings, and percs in the Logic Pro. All played on M-Audio Axiom Pro keyboard connected to Mac. Cordoba guitar (on the cover art) recorded through MBox2 interface, I think, or maybe embedded Macbook mic. Track comes from the older hard drive, with as-is guitar impromptu recording, meaning a vintage feeling. Meaning extra charm, right? 

I posted the track celebration celebrating 5,000 SC plays. Way beyond 3 Million by now somehow, woah! Thank you!
