Hailing From Wilmington, NC, Kang B has a long background in music, including over 10 years in electronic production. 

He is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, dj, and vocalist new to the Asheville area. Touting a custom built multi-instrumentalism desk accommodating six instruments and vocals simultaneously, he has big plans for future performances and an album in the works!

Boasting a glitched out, psychedelic trappy style with plenty of intermittent wubs, he is also known to drop high energy house and U.K. Garage as well. An overall esoteric style, when asked to describe his own sound you will only get metaphors like...... “King Kong on a ten-strip”, or “a prototype outer-space cabaret”, or “alien music for future people”.

From old school punk, to roots reggae, hip-hop, trap, dub and dubstep, garage, glitch, house, many types of experimental and avant garde, his influences span across the board. His Dj sets are filled with dark and sexy vibes that keep you moving! You can also catch him scratching this summer, and hopefully adding more instruments to live performances soon.

You might have caught past performances alongside artists like Dredlok, Froggy P, Bombassic, Push/Pull, and Zeppelin. He has also released four EPs since 2019 including Black Beach, Apocalypse Tracks Vol.1, and The Breathing Room available on majors platforms.
