Dan developed a love for making music on guitar in the small Alaskan fishing town of Port Alexander where he grew up. Dan earned a B.A. in music from the Hartt School of music in Connecticut while studying classical guitar. In addition to composing, Dan teaches guitar lessons to students of all ages and abilities at Dan’s Guitar Studio in St. Paul, MN. Dan enjoys bike commuting, traveling (especially home to Alaska), playing cribbage and taking in the local music scene.
