The New Realm

DaNN is a Belgian DJ and producer. Born in the 70s, he spent his childhood summer times dancing to Disco music in Spain where his grand parents owned a popular night club in Malaga. Inspired by the electronic sounds of Gio Moroder and Jean-Michel Jarre in the 70s and dark electro New Wave from bands like Front242 and the Neon Judgement, DaNN was at the vanguard of EDM in all its shapes and forms. DaNN started producing in the early 90s using a good old Atari ST with Cubase. After many years of inactivity DaNN started producing music again during the Covid pandemic taking full advantage of the amazing capabilities of contemporary DAWs and VST. DaNN is mainly focusing on uplifting trance marked by a pounding kick and bass, mixed with layers of melodic electronic rhythm sections.
He is using Logic Pro with mostly Serum and Sylenth1 as VST next to a Korg Extreme workstation and Yamaha CS1X control synth. DaNN’s musical motto is « Make music that makes you wanna party »
