I haven't posted anything in a while but i have been working on things. i turned 40 and got myself a present of new equipment. my old equipment didn't even have a working headphone jack for the last 3 years.....   this mix is the most complex endeavor i have ever created. over 20 samples if not maybe 30 from everything from J1d to mac to the ta1k1ng heads to p$nk floyd multiple floyd samples,  coco rosie to my absolute number one favorite band **T00l***. this mix is the evolution of my life on the west coast.  all wrapped up and swirled into a massive amount of love  to all of the music that has influenced, inspired, and honestly saved my life through sonic release these last 40 years. things are gonna get better from here on out. thank you all from the bottom of my heart for ever listening and please enjoy this journey. I think you will. I love you all.

EMPATHY AND ENTROPY MIX 2024

I had the honor of playing a poolside set for Camp Silver Spur (near Yosemite) this past Fourth of July during their Glitter Ranch campout.

Everyone was lovely, but I felt the energy change at some point and tried to match the music accordingly. A gentleman floating in the pool shared his experience of being in the water when the bass changed (after my set), which was nice 😅

🔥 🔥 September’s mix celebrates mix number 100! One mix every month for 8+ years! Downtempo and divine in melodic majesty 🎶. It’s early morning, distant waves are creating rhythmic resonance, sending blended sines that flow to the farthest corner of my awakened mind, deliciously intertwined. The sun rises above the gently undulating ocean, my hand tracing curves, searching for the perfect sensation and frequency. My 5th DJ set, this one was a renegade sunrise set performed on the UF-Fro Art car on Sunday morning. It begins chill beats and then makes it's way through a few genres, ending in deep house. 

TedDrops aims to play beautiful music that uplifts and transforms. It was great to see the reaction from the inspired crowd and including one man who was kneeling by the speaker crying for a couple songs.

Liquid Bloom live band set recorded at the Lucent Temple stage at Lightening in a Bottle festival. This sound journey is a result of the artistic alchemy of Amani Friend (production), Ixchel Prisma (vocals), Jesse Hendricks (flute), HÄANA (violin), and Sahuna Love (percussion). we were joined on stage with performance from Jen Isabel Friend, Erina Love, and Anthony Flowers Ward.
